Our trek will begin from Nepal’s most beautiful city Pokhara. Our journey starts from lowland villages and rice terraces deep into the Annapurna Himal. As we climb, we will have the opportunity to see the peaks of Annapurna south and Hiunchuli emerge from behind the foothills. After we reach the Annapurna Sanctuary from where well be able to see the most enchanting vista of Annapurna mountain ranges.
Our journey in pokhara starts from a walk along the Modi stream, which leads us to the beautiful village of Birethanti. Our trek will continue heading to Ulleri following the bank of the Burungdi stream. We then climb the valley of Hile (1495 meters) and Tikhedhunga (1570 meters). The trail leads steep up to Ulleri (2073 meters), a large beautiful Magar village, through the stone slabs.
We will then go to ghorepani which is at an altitude of 2840 meter.we climb slowly to Banthanti (2250 meters) through Oak and rhododendron forest. We then continue trek towards Ghorepani through Nangeythanti (2460 meters).
Early in the morning, we Climb up to Poon Hill (3210 meters) to see the panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himalayan ranges as well as sunrise over the tolerable himalayas. Experiencing the great views of Himalayan panorama from Poon Hill, we descend to Ghorepani. After breakfast, continue downhill trek to Tadapani (2690 meter).
We follow the trail that descends to Kimrong stream through the forest of rhododendron. We then walk towards Chhomrong crossing through the Gurjung village. Chhomrong offers you close views of Mt. Annapurna south and Hiunchuli and the virgin peak, Fishtail (Machhapuchchhre). After resting, we walk downhill to Chhomrong stream and again climb up to Dovan.
We then finally reach our destination, with our climb to Machhapuchhre base camp (3900 meters) and to Annapurna base camp. The area is surrounded by the mountains and is known as Annapurna Sanctuary. This place gives you an spectacular view of Himalayas including Annapurna I, Annapurna South and Barah Shikhar. With the memories of the beyond our imagination, with experiences the will remain with us all our life, we return back.

Day 6: Hike to Poon Hill(3,210m). Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani(2,690m). Overnight at a teahouse.
Day 7: Trek from Tadapani to Chommrong(2,146m). Overnight at a teahouse.
Day 8: Trek from Chommrong to Dovan(2,505m). Overnight at a teahouse.
Day 9: Trek from Dovan to Deurali(3,100m). Overnight at a teahouse.
Day 10: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp(4,130m). Overnight at a teahouse.
Day 11: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo(2,335). Overnight at a teahouse.
Day 12: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Hot Spring(1,710m). Overnight at a teahouse.
Day 13: Trek from Jhinu to Nayapul(1,070m). Drive to Pokhara- 1 hour. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 14: Drive/ fly back to Kathmandu, and farewell dinner. Overnight at a teahouse.
Day 15: Drive back to Kathmandu, and farewell dinner

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
On your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, our airport representatives will warmly greet you, after which you will be transferred to the hotel on a private tourist vehicle.
Day 2: Trip meeting followed by valley sightseeing
Early next morning following a hearty breakfast, Hike Himalaya Adventures will host a pre-trip meeting at the hotel you’re staying. During this meeting, we introduce your trip guide, and we’ll be happy to answer any question you may have. We provide you with important information about the trip, so do feel free to take notes if you want to. Also, please kindly bring three passport-size photos, passport and travel insurance policy. Legal formalities, including liability waiver, will be taken care of in this meeting.
Once the meeting concludes, we begin our sightseeing of the valley for which a private vehicle along with a professional guide will be provided. The valley is dotted with fantastic cultural heritages, some of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, which we’ll visit. These include Boudhanath Stupa (the largest Buddhist shrines in the world), Pashupatinath (the holiest Hindu temple in the world), Durbar Squares (Palaces and fortresses of medieval Kings), along with other popular cultural attractions. The lifestyle of the Nepalese people, holy sadhus and monks, the fascinating history and the awe-inspiring architecture will be the highlight of this day-long sightseeing trip.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
You will be ushered to the bus station by our staff for the bus to Pokhara. The ride will be pleasant and go through one of Nepal’s major highways. For much of the ride’s duration, you will see gorgeous hills and the gushing Trishuli river. Once you reach Pokhara, you will be awestruck by the city’s natural beauty. The gorgeous Phewa lake overlooking the Annapurna range, Macchpuchare “Fishtail” mountain more prominently, will take your breath away. Pokhara is the perfect place for relaxation and adventure activities as well.
Day 4: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. Trek from Nayapul to Tikhedhunga
A 1-hour ride from Pokhara takes us to Nayapul, the starting point of our trekking. Walking along the banks of Modi Khola takes us to the bustling town of Birethani. The track eventually ascends towards the famed Hiley valley, then shortly afterwards we reach Tikhedhunga, situated at 1,570m. The pleasant trek today is a warm-up for the trails ahead.
Day 5: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
Leaving Tikhedhunga, we reach the Magar village of Ulleri, a great place to learn about the local culture. The trail starts climbing into the rhododendron forest, heading to Nangethani. From here, Ghorepani is just an hour’s walk away.
Day 6: Hike to Poon Hill. Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani
To see the simply jawdropping sunrise from Poon Hill, we hike to the hilltop very early in the morning. At 3,210m, mountains ahead seem just a stone’s throw away and they radiate into blushing red and then orange as the first beams of sun hits the white snow-capped Annapurnas. After watching the sunrise, we head back to the guesthouse from where we trek to Tadapani, through pine and rhododendon forests.
Day 7: Trek from Tadapani to Chommrong
Today, the trek starts with a steep downhill through rhododendron forests as we leave Tadapani. As we descend more towards Chommrong, we come across a Gurung village by the name of Gurjung. From there, Chommrong, at 2,140m, is a comfortable way ahead.
Day 8: Trek from Chommrong to Dovan
We descend to Chommrong River, followed by an ascent to Annapurna Conservation Area (ACAP) checkpost. After a little while of trekking, the trails goes down towards a rock bank. We follow the trail to Dovan.
Day 9: Trek from Dovan to Deurali
From this point on we start gaining altitude, so this means the trek on this day will be relatively shorter. We start our trek through thickets of bamboo, then pine and rhododendron forests through a gorgeous path. The trek is both challenging and exciting, admiring the nature. We reach Deurali in the afternoon, and take a pleasant walk around the area.
Day 10: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp
We finally set out to our ultimate destination of the Annapurna Base Camp, passing Macchapuchare Base Camp. The latter technically is not a base camp because scaling Macchapuchare is forbidden. Annapurna Base Camp (at 4,130m) hosts an awesome 360-degree view of mountains. We’ll spend rest of the day admiring the Annapurnas.
Day 11: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
The return trail from Annapurna Base Camp descends to Bamboo. As much as 1,700m altitude is lost during this returning trek. We reach Bamboo and stay at a teahouse. After the trek to Annpurna Base Camp, Bamboo provides the rest and relaxation you need
Day 12: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Hot Spring
Returning from Bamboo to Jhinu, we pass the sheep farming village of Khuldighar. Again through forests and vast bamboo fields, we continue along the descending trail to Jhinu The natural hot springs at Jhinu is great for relaxing your body and mind.
Day 13: Trek from Jhinu to Nayapul. Drive to Pokhara
Trekking along the Modi River takes us to Birethani. Really pleasant, the trek lasts for about 5 hours before we reach Nayapul, the starting point of our trek. From Nayapul, we drive back to Pokhara.
Day 14: Pokhara sightseeing
The sightseeing of the city will start in the morning. A professional tour guide and a private vehicle are provided for this session, which will take us to the famed Fewa and Begnas Lakes, museums, Tibetan refugee settlement, Gupteshwar cave and Davis Waterfall. All in all, the day will be eventful as well as relaxing.
Day 15: Drive back to Kathmandu, and farewell dinner
Early in the morning, we take a bus back to Kathmandu. Leisure activities like souvenir shopping, spa and more exploration of the city can be done in late afternoon. You may also wish to extend your trip to include bungee jumping, rafting, Everest mountain flight and so forth. Later in the evening, you will be invited for a farewell dinner at a typical Nepalese restaurant, which will host cultural shows.
Day 16: Departure from Kathmandu
This is the last day of the trip. You will be transferred to the airport and we wish you safe journey back home.
