We will cross over the Dudh Koshi River several times while climbing through beautiful rhododendron forests. After arriving to Namche bazzar, we will follow a direct route to Everest base camp, and as we climb up Namche bazzar we’ll have our first glimpse of rest and Ama Dablam and a few hours of walk brings us to the village of Tashinga which is set in a deep, broad valley.
The monastery of Tengboche sits at 3870m, waiting for trekkers like us. Our everest trek leads to The monastery (gompa) at Tengboche which is the most important in the Sherpa region. The stunning view of mountains like, Kwangde (6187m), Tawachee (6542m), Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse (8501m), Ama Dablam, Kantega and Thamserku is something you’ll remember all your life. From here we will take the high trail above Namche Bazaar. From Tesho we turn off the main trail and make our way slowly up a closed valley. The climb up to Mende is a difficult ascent, but it’s absolutely worth it. From mende, we will follow an easy route all the way to the village of Thame.
