Trip Overview

Nepals heritage is alive and dynamic. Shamanism, animism and witch craft are still practiced in remote regions. Temples, shrines, monuments and monasteries are extremely active with devotees burning butter-lamps, singing hymns, chiming temple bells and playing drums. With religion and colture still palying a major role in people’s lives till date, Nepalis have maintained their culture well for centuries, and their cultural monuments. With intricate architectural significance and their historical background, amongst other qualities, 8 of Nepal’s cultural sites are registered as World heritage sites, with 7 of them being inside the Kathmandu valley itself. Along with that, Chitwan and Sagarmatha National Parks have been enlisted on the list of Natural Heritage sites for their specialties. With so many heritage sites, all worth a visit, the Nepal heritage tour is worth a try.

Nepal heritage tours offer you some of the spectacular serene hillside areas of Nepal, close to the snow capped mountains, making it all the more easier to absorb the cultural and natural beauty of the surrounding area. The relaxing hymns at the cultural sites and the sheer tranquility of the lush green forests and towering mountains is energizing and soothing at the same time.

Take a walk through the old pathways of the Durbar Squares, all three of them, and witness how time has stood still in these areas. Hike to the Sayambhunath temple and enjoy the panoramic view of the Himalayas, with the alleviating Tibetan hymn playing through. Spend an evening on the Bouddhanath stupa, the sheer magnanimity of the monument, and the sense of calm in the air around it is actually rejuvenating. Travel to the national parks, and enjoy the Nature just being itself, undisturbed.
