Nepals heritage is alive and dynamic. Shamanism, animism and witch craft are still practiced in remote regions. Temples, shrines, monuments and monasteries are extremely active with devotees burning butter-lamps, singing hymns, chiming temple bells and playing drums. With religion and colture still palying a major role in people’s lives till date, Nepalis have maintained their culture well for centuries, and their cultural monuments. With intricate architectural significance and their historical background, amongst other qualities, 8 of Nepal’s cultural sites are registered as World heritage sites, with 7 of them being inside the Kathmandu valley itself. Along with that, Chitwan and Sagarmatha National Parks have been enlisted on the list of Natural Heritage sites for their specialties. With so many heritage sites, all worth a visit, the Nepal heritage tour is worth a try.
